CONTROL - The operator has fabulous control over the ship. The operating position at the end of the tail boom is an excellent vantage point, and the variable speed (controlled from the hand-held control) gives the right speed whether out in the open or making a tricky maneuver in a crowded hangar. The electronic controller provides electronic braking.
EASE OF USE - True ONE PERSON operation. Easy and quick to load from the rear, the yokes are easily attached, and it takes no special strength.
SAFETY - The Chopper Spotter LIFTS THE SHIP ONLY A FEW INCHES. It can't fall off, and you won't poke anything into the fuselage. You never scar the crosstubes because it is attached where the wheels attach. If you currently land on a platform, the safety and convenience is a big improvement.
RELIABILITY - The Chopper Spotter was designed for reliability. The polyurethane wheels never need air, the relays are designed for hundreds of thousands of cycles, the chain drive/gearbox system works in cold weather, and the hydraulic lifting system is maintenance free for thousands of cycles. The batteries are deep cycle, lead acid type for low maintenance, and the 24 volt charging system is wired into the system for dependability, safety, and convenience. Most moving parts need no maintenance.
